Kirklees Local TV (KLTV) recently visited the Marshian Arts Trail, a vibrant community event designed to celebrate and showcase local creativity.

Over the summer, the trail transformed everyday spaces into pop-up galleries, with artwork from a wide range of local artists displayed in shops, cafés, and businesses along Westbourne Road and the surrounding area in Marsh.

From paintings and photography to textiles and sculpture, the event highlighted the diverse talent within the community while encouraging people to explore local businesses in a new way.

By bringing art directly into the heart of the neighbourhood, the Marshian Arts Trail created opportunities for connection between artists, residents, and business owners, while shining a spotlight on the value of arts and culture in everyday life.
