Independent retailer brings affordable bags and accessories to the town centre as The Arcade continues to welcome new businesses
The Arcade Dewsbury is set to welcome its latest independent retailer, with mother-and-daughter-run boutique Apple Blossom preparing to open its doors at the historic shopping centre.
The boutique will offer a selection of affordable bags and accessories, with a focus on combining style, practicality and accessible prices.
Apple Blossom will officially open on Saturday 3 October, although shoppers may spot the team in the shop ahead of the opening as they prepare for the launch and begin a soft opening.
Visitors are being encouraged to pop in, say hello and take a look at the new business.
Affordable style comes to The Arcade
Apple Blossom has been established around the belief that fashion should be beautiful, practical and accessible.
The boutique’s collection has been carefully selected by the mother-and-daughter team, with each piece chosen to combine everyday usability with timeless design.
The business said: “At Apple Blossom, we believe style should be beautiful, affordable, and accessible to everyone.
“As a mother-and-daughter-run business, we’re passionate about offering thoughtfully selected bags and accessories that combine everyday practicality with timeless style.
“Every piece is chosen with care, helping you express your unique style without stretching your budget.”

More independent businesses on the way
The arrival of Apple Blossom is the latest in a series of new businesses preparing to open at The Arcade.
Further tenants are expected to arrive in the coming weeks, including a traditional sweet shop and a jewellery shop.
The growing line-up will also include a fine-line tattoo artist, a professional make-up artist studio, an aesthetics studio and a dedicated speech therapist.
The Arcade is also preparing to launch its dedicated events and community rooms next month, with plans for cultural programming, workshops and public gatherings aimed at bringing more activity into Dewsbury town centre.
The Arcade continues to grow
Jenny Holden-Stokes, Manager at The Arcade Dewsbury, said the new arrivals reflect the centre’s vision for an independent high street.
“We are thrilled to welcome Apple Blossom to our growing Arcade family. Their dedication to quality, affordability, and personal service fits perfectly with our vision for an independent high street.
“With a historic local sweet shop, creative studios, specialist services, and our community rooms opening next month, The Arcade is truly coming alive.”
Further tenant announcements are expected in the coming weeks as The Arcade continues to expand its mix of independent retailers, creative businesses and community services.
