NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (WYICB) is conducting a review of wound care services in Kirklees as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance patient care.
The review focuses on improving the treatment of wounds following hospital discharge and for patients with minor injuries and superficial wounds that do not require hospital attendance.
To support this initiative, WYICB is seeking feedback from individuals who have received wound care treatment within the past six months.
A short survey has been launched to gather insights into patients’ experiences and identify areas for improvement. The survey is open until Monday, 10 March 2025.
The survey is anonymous and takes approximately five minutes to complete. It is available online at: https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/kirkleeswoundcare/.
For those who prefer a paper copy, require assistance in completing the survey, or need it in an alternative format, support is available.
Individuals can contact WYICB via email at wyicb-kirk.engagement@nhs.net or call 01484 464000.
WYICB encourages as many people as possible to participate and share their views to help shape the future of wound care services in Kirklees.
