Injury Not Life-Threatening as West Yorkshire Police Continue Investigation
West Yorkshire Police have confirmed that one person has been arrested following a stabbing incident in Deighton on Saturday, 12 July.
Emergency services were called at approximately 1:44 pm after ambulance crews reported a stabbing on Riddings Road. Upon arrival, officers and paramedics found a person with a minor abdominal wound.
The injured individual was taken to the hospital for treatment, where medical staff confirmed the injury was not serious.
A police cordon was established at the scene to allow officers to conduct initial investigations, but this has since been lifted.
Police have arrested one person in connection with the incident. At this time, no other suspects are being sought.
The Kirklees District Domestic Abuse Team is leading the ongoing investigation.
