Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a man sustained knife injuries during a serious assault in Huddersfield.
Arrests have been made, and enquiries are ongoing following the incident, which occurred at the Hart Bar in Huddersfield in the early hours of Sunday, 18 August.
The police were alerted at 2:40 am by the ambulance service after a 38-year-old man was discovered with knife injuries on Kirkgate. He was promptly taken to hospital, where his injury, initially considered serious, was later deemed non-life-threatening.
Investigations revealed that the man had been injured during an altercation inside the Hart Bar at approximately 1:30 am.
A police cordon was established at the scene, and following swift enquiries, officers arrested two men, aged 29 and 37, on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. Both suspects remain in custody.
Detectives are urging anyone who witnessed the incident at the Hart Bar, observed the victim leaving the premises, or has any information or footage that could assist the investigation, to come forward. Please contact Kirklees CID on 101, quoting crime number 13240449883.
