Since December last year, community campaigners have been working tirelessly to help save Deighton Sports Arena, which has been struggling with temporary closures and limited opening times under Kirklees Active Leisure.
Discussions are now taking place over the possibility of the arena coming under community control through asset transfer.
On the 14th of September, 6 pm – 7 pm at the Arena, the Ashbrow Ward community is coming together to discuss asset transfer and possible opportunities for community organisations to benefit from the space.
We want to know your feelings on the matter. Check out the poll below and have your say.

If you are interested in the future of the Deighton Sports Arena and want to know more about how the community could take over this space, please come along and meet your local ward councillors and Kirklees Council Officers.
