On Friday the 25th February, Gabby will be joined by BBC broadcaster Michael Buerk and the Governor of Edinburgh Castle, Alistair Bruce, for the online charity event, hosted by veteran TV presenter Simon McCoy.

Raising Money for Charity
The evening’s events are all in service of raising money for ABF The Soldiers’ Charity.
The Soldiers’ Charity is the Army’s national charity, formed in 1944 to provide a lifetime of support to soldiers, veterans, and their families when they are in need.
Entertaining Guests
As one of the biggest names in UK sports presenting, Gabby Logan will share with guests, stories of top sports stars, as well as memories of the 2012 Olympics.
Fellow BBC Journalist Michael Buerk will look back on his time covering the Ethiopian famine, and its inspiration as the first Global Live Aid Concert.
Additionally, The Governor of Edinburgh Castle, General Alistair Bruce, the highest-ranking Army officer to have had a same-sex wedding, will share one of the key lessons he learned from the Army.
Why Friday Night In?
Friday Night In was launched in 2021, during the height of the pandemic, when many in-person ABF events were cancelled.
The first Friday Night In event helped raise over £23,000 for the Army’s national charity and reached audiences throughout the UK and beyond.
‘Evening of Fun’
Charles Dunphie, the Scotland Director of ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, said: “Cancel all your Friday night plans and join our celebrity guests for an evening of fun, frank conversation and fundraising.
“Invite your friends, share a meal and help support Army veterans, soldiers and their families.”
Amanda, who attended last year’s Friday Night In, heaped praise on the event.
She said: “We got the whole family together last year and had a great time trying to make the winning bid on some great prizes; we’ll definitely be attending this year.”
Registration for the event is £20 per household. To sign up for this event, visit the ABF The Soldiers’ Charity Website.
