By Nathan Findlay –
Today, Huddersfield Town will take on Preston North End away from home for their 31st game in the Championship (19:45 KO)
I think this will be a great game, and with the past results for Huddersfield looking strong, it is time to keep up the momentum and push for 3 points in tonight’s game.
Huddersfield is currently unbeaten in their last ten league games (12 including the FA cup games). So it is clear that Huddersfield Town is in great form at the moment, and they need to take advantage of this while they can.
Huddersfield previously played Barnsley in the FA Cup, where they managed to get a decisive win and push into the next round of the competition, where they will now play Nottingham Forrest. This will be a fantastic opportunity to test the team and see how they can react to a very on-form team now in the Championship.
Preston North End FC
Preston North End is currently 13th in the Championship, with their past five games being very decent; one loss, two draws and two wins keep Preston in the middle of the table for now in a very average position.
Preston is not a bad team at all, and at home, they are not an easy team to beat by any means. So, this will be another test for Huddersfield and a game where it is not going to be a walk in the park for them.
Preston previously played Hull where the game finished in a 1-0 win to Preston, this was a close game with a remarkably close side, and I think that the result from this game was deserved, after looking over the game, it was Preston that created the better chances through the game.
One player to watch for Preston is Emil Riis Jakobsen. This player has scored a total of 12 goals so far this season and is looking like a valuable player who is improving game to game.

Prediction
I think that this will be a good game of football between the two sides. Huddersfield is unbeaten in ten, so the pressure is on them to keep this unbeaten record going for the side, and I think they will have to put up a fight to hold it.
A win for Preston would push them to 10th in the table, leaving the team only be 2 points away from the promotion area. So, it is clear that tonight will be a crucial game for both teams.
My Prediction is…
