Royal Mail is recruiting temporary staff during the hectic Christmas period.
Casual workers will be responsible for sorting through the flood of Christmas post over the holiday season.
There are jobs going at Royal Mail’s Leeds Mail Centre, in Leodis Way, Hunslet. Various shift patterns are offered with positions from early, late, nights to weekend days/nights.
The role offers pay of £9.50 per hour, (days) to £11.21 per hour, (nights).
The job advert reads: “Here at Royal Mail, Christmas is our busiest time of year. With so many parcels and letters coming through our warehouse doors, it’s no surprise that we need a few thousand extra helping hands to get everything to where it needs to go.
“That’s why, every year, we hire temporary Mail Centre workers from all different walks of life to help deliver Christmas across the U.K.”
Royal Mail is looking for proactive and adaptable people to join their team over the Christmas holidays, no previous experience is needed but you must comfortable to stand for long periods and pushing trolley loads of mail. It is essential you are competent in working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
