THE RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford & District branch are holding their annual ‘Beaumont Barks’ Fun Dog Show this bank holiday Monday 30th August.
As the name suggests, the event is taking place in the beautiful surroundings of Huddersfield’s Beaumont Park.
It runs from 12-4 pm and will feature a 10 class dog show, games, stalls and refreshments.
The event itself is free to attend, with each dog show costing £2 per class.
All funds raised at ‘Beaumont Barks’ will go directly to the Wade Street RSPCA Centre and the animals currently in its care.
The show is being hosted by the local RSPCA branch in partnership with ‘Friends of Beaumont Park’ and it is hoped that the funds raised will continue to help the branch as they recover through the Covid-19 pandemic.
‘Family Fun’
Fay Gibbons, Digital Fundraiser for the RSPCA Branch, said: “If you’re looking for something fun to do this Bank Holiday, why not join us at Beaumont Barks?
“There’s something for all the family to enjoy (two-legged and four-legged) … and your dog could walk away with an official RSPCA rosette!
“Our Fun Dog Shows feature classes for all breeds, sizes, ages and abilities and is sure to get tails wagging!”
