Bagshaw Museum in Batley is joining in the national celebration of older people with its very own ‘Silver Sunday’ event on Sunday, 9 October, 12noon to 5pm.
Silver Sunday is an annual day of fun and free activities for older people across the country. Led by The Sir Simon Milton Foundation, it celebrates the contribution over 65s make to communities by offering opportunities to try new activities and meet new friends.
Bagshaw Museum, in Wilton Park, will be running house tours and challenging the grey matter with an object quiz.
The event is free for over 65s (bring your bus pass as proof of age) and will include a cup of tea.
