West Yorkshire bus operator, Team Pennine, has announced their updated schedule for bus services over the Christmas period.
As usual, there will be no service on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day, and the surrounding days will see the operator run their Saturday service.
Boxing Day will feature a limited service from the Denby Darts D1, running Hourly on the usual route. No other services will be in operation however.
the operator is encouraging Christmas shoppers to bypass busy traffic and parking issues by taking the bus across Kirklees this Winter.
Concessionary travel passes will be valid as usual, offering free travel after 9:30 am on weekdays, and anytime during weekends and bank holidays.

Team Pennine General Manager, Steve Ottley, said: “Driving and parking can be challenging at this time of year, with traffic queues, roadworks, and congested car parks. Anything that avoids stress and saves money is a good idea.
