A new wave of creative industry training and community networking events is set to energise West Yorkshire, thanks to a free support programme from the Black Business Consortium West Yorkshire (BBC-WY).
Are you a freelancer, entrepreneur or creative professional working in fashion, film, tech, music, advertising or digital media?
BBC-WY is calling on individuals across Leeds, Bradford and Kirklees to get involved in a dynamic programme of workshops and events designed to build skills, boost confidence and drive sustainable business growth.
Participants will benefit from training sessions and tailored mentoring in key areas including:
- Artificial Intelligence
- Business Mentoring
- Branding & Marketing
- Business Sales
- Content Creation
Each session is designed to equip attendees with the knowledge and tools needed to thrive in today’s fast-evolving creative industries.
Supported by local partners including Palm Cove (Bradford), Unity Housing (Leeds), Kirklees Local TV, and the Black Business Support Agency (Huddersfield), this initiative is part of a wider mission to regenerate inner-city neighbourhoods and uplift Black entrepreneurs through education, inclusion and enterprise.
If you have a business or business idea in the creative sector and are looking for training, technical support or expert business advice, this free programme is for you.
