Fresh Futures to host charity golf day at Meltham Golf Club with fundraising and networking opportunities
Fresh Futures is inviting businesses and golfers from across Yorkshire to take part in its 2026 charity golf day, which will be held at Meltham Golf Club on Friday, 8 May.
The regional charity is bringing together local companies and individual players for a day of golf, networking and fundraising in support of vulnerable children, young people and families across the region.
Event details and activities
The event is open to both teams of four and individual golfers. Participants will be welcomed with bacon butties, tea and coffee on arrival, followed by a putting competition before the main round begins.
During the round, golfers will be offered refreshments and snacks, with drinks available at the Halfway House. After play, attendees will take part in a one-course meal, followed by a prize presentation and guest speaker.
Additional fundraising activities on the day will include a raffle and a “guess the number of tees” competition, and all golfers will receive goodie bags.
Prizes will be awarded to the top two teams, alongside a separate prize draw offering the chance to win a golfing holiday for two.

Entry fees and team options
Entry costs are set at £275 plus VAT for a team of four, or £70 for individual golfers. Organisers say the format is designed to accommodate both corporate teams and independent players wishing to take part.
Funds raised from the event will go towards Fresh Futures’ work with children and families facing a range of challenges, including poverty, instability and limited access to support services.
Sponsorship opportunities for businesses
In addition to player entries, businesses are being encouraged to support the event through sponsorship. A range of packages is available to suit different budgets and levels of involvement.
Options include headline sponsorship at £1,750 and silver sponsorship at £950. Lower-cost opportunities are also available, including putting competition sponsorship at £250 and individual tee sponsorship priced at £50 per tee.
Sponsorship is intended to give local businesses visibility on the day while contributing directly to the charity’s programmes and services.
