Another tough loss for the Giants.
The Giants faced up against Hull on Friday 25 June, where they, unfortunately, took a loss at the game.
Huddersfield started off the game really well, with them gaining a nice 10 point lead after only 25 minutes. This was after Russell managed to put away a conversion and two penalty goals.
Huddersfield managed to keep this lead all the way through the first half. Soon after the second half started, we started to see Hull creep their way into the game.
The first try scored for Hull came from Fonua in the 49th minute. After this, we saw Hull really push the pressure on Huddersfield, which led to many mistakes and gaps. Of course, this was something that Hull pounced on, which lead them to the win against Huddersfield.
After this game, this leaves Huddersfield in 10th place.

Post-Match Thoughts
This was always going to be a very tough game for the Giants and we knew that before Giants went into the game.
Hull FC has been on great form so far this season and it was clear that this was something that they wanted to keep up and push them further up the table.
I think that the result of the game feels worse as Huddersfield Giants did have a great start to the game and with them looking good in the first half, Hull would have to push their limits in the second half, which Hull managed to do and the prime reason that they managed to win the game.
The Giants have got two more days to go before their next game. Huddersfield Giants have got to prove the fans wrong and start to perform in these games, as people are beginning to get frustrated with the performance.
Next Game
Huddersfield will be next facing Catalan Dragons on Thursday, the 1 July 2021. This game, on paper, will be the hardest game of the season for Huddersfield. Catalan is storming the league and has currently only lost one game out of 10, leaving them with a total of 18 points so far this season.
Huddersfield will have to pull something out of the bag if they want to get anything out of this game.
