The SkyBet Championship fixtures for 2020/21 were released on 21 August 2020 along with the rest of the EFL.
Huddersfield Town had a rough time in the league last season which saw them finish 18th and survived relegation by only three points.
With Carlos Corberan at the helm this season, will the Terriers be able to improve their league position this season?
I took it upon myself to use worldfootball.net to predict every single game in the Championship next season to form a full league table prediction.
Here are the final table results I came up with:

I believe Huddersfield Town will make an improvement next season under Carlos Corberan and will not have to deal with the looming threat of relegation as they have during the 2019/20 campaign.
Having worked under Marcela Bielsa at Leeds United, could we see Corberan bring a slice of ‘Bielsa Ball’ to the John Smith’s Stadium? It is very possible.
Corberan has the potential to get Huddersfield Town playing much better football than they did under Danny Cowley and it will show through their league position.
A mid-table finish is what I see for the Terriers in the upcoming campaign, as I have predicted them finishing 13th.
In my predicted league table, Town will have accumulated six more points than they did in 2019/20 and will be 11 points above the bottom three rather than the three points from last season.
The only reason I do not see Huddersfield Town breaking through to the top half of the table is player quality. Corberan may not be able to get all the type of players he would like for his kind of system.
The possibility loss of some key players, like Karlan Grant, and the clearing out of gubbins may also add restrictions to the Terriers season.
Sheffield Wednesday’s 12-point deduction sees them only get 43 points on my prediction, which sees them in the relegation places finishing 23rd. If it wasn’t for the deduction, they would have 55 points and be in 15th place in my table.
