Welcome to Talking Health TV, where we dive deep into the most pressing health issues and innovations shaping our world today.
In this episode, Dr Milton Brown is joined by Dr. Samantha Johnson, a medical doctor from Jamaica with a profound commitment to making healthcare accessible and equitable for all.
A graduate of the University of the West Indies, Dr Johnson is pursuing her MSc in Public Health and Health Promotion at Brunel University London as a 2023/24 Chevening Scholar.
In addition to her academic pursuits, she’s behind The Layman’s Doctor — a platform designed to bridge the gap between healthcare providers and patients.
She is also the founder of Margin 2 Centre, an NGO dedicated to improving healthcare access for marginalised women.
With her focus on healthcare investing in underserved markets across the Caribbean, Latin America, and Africa, Dr. Johnson is reshaping the landscape of health promotion and digital health.
