Written Testimonials

Working with KLTV is always a positive experience. The team is supportive, thoughtful, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. This helps to create a welcoming and comfortable environment that never feels invasive.

I particularly appreciate the open conversations during the editing stage, which make the process feel genuinely collaborative. There is a clear sense of care in how the materials are handled, and I feel this approach is both ethical and inclusive.

It is a pleasure to work with KLTV, and I would be very happy to collaborate with them in the future.

Laura Mateescu – Photographer, Videographer, Research Fellow @Cultures Of_

I have worked with Kirklees TV in a number of podcasts and videos over the past few months. Their professionalism and expertise has been outstanding. The end products have way exceeded my expectations.

They listen to the customers’ needs and show great patience in explaining what options exist. It is refreshing not to be baffled by science and technical terms etc.

Everyone I have dealt with at Kirklees TV has been courteous and helpful. Having visited their studios on a few occasions I have always found them most welcoming. There is a strong team spirit within the team at Kirklees – always a good sign of a healthy and thriving organisation.

I would recommend them unreservedly.

‘I had a fabulous evening at Kirklees Local TV for the filming of the Business Programme and felt quite special. I loved it!’

‘The people were very courteous, welcoming and hospitable. They took time to explain what we were doing and manged our natural anxiety very well. I was amazed that such a well-equipped facility existed in Huddersfield, let alone in the Media Centre. I was impressed that the equipment looked spot on, worked and was operated by people who knew what they were doing and were willing to explain and educate. David Brodhead and I enjoyed the interview, we had discussed it beforehand, so I was prepared, and the finished article is first class, I have shown it colleagues and my Franchise are putting it up on their website, I have had feedback from colleagues which is favourable.’

‘BHI found working with KLTV a very valuable experience and the professionalism was on point. As a client BHI found that they were helpful and supportive over all editing even when given short notice. The filmed event went exceptionally well and the final cut proved to be a fantastic promotional tool for the dementia work that we are doing.’

Bridget, Black Health Initiative

I had a pleasure to meet with Milton and Chris while working on a clip for Safe Anchor Trust. They were very professional and respectful. They gathered a lot of background before filming and spoke to trustees and volunteers. While many people may not like the camera, myself included, they had a way to make everybody comfortable and relaxed.

The final clip looks great in terms of visuals, and the story behind it. Milton took time to understand the charity and its mission, to ensure that the film is representative. He also was patient to listen to everybody and had a lot of conversations with various people.

In the same time Chris spotted best places for filming and captured various aspects of our work. It’s been a great experience to work with the Kirklees Local TV and I look forward to future collaboration.

Anna Galindo, Safe Anchor Trust

“On 19 March 2026, Kirklees Local TV delivered an impact seminar for The National Archives on building trust and collaboration in community engagement. The session offered up real world experience of working with communities and heritage organisations. Milton and Chris gave an honest reflection on what worked, what was challenging, and what institutions need to do differently.

“The presentation was excellently delivered and promoted open discussion. With over 70 delegates in attendance, KLTV inspired recordkeeping professionals to reflect on their practice by showcasing their inspirational approach to building relationships and fostering inclusivity. The impact of their brilliant work was reflected in delegate feedback.

“Absolutely fantastic session – thank you so much Milton and Chris. Really inspiring and thought-provoking

Helena Smart and James Heyworth-Taylor, The National Archives

‘My work placement at KLTV has been an extremely invaluable experience. I’ve learnt an incredible deal from it, not just the media skills you’d expect to learn from a placement like this, but also other stuff like how media production works. I’ve enjoyed working on a plethora of different projects, and I’ve also enjoyed spending time with my team, who I really grew to like. Now that it’s finished, there are many different things I can expect to take from it to use in my future, including refined media production skills, a whole portfolio of work, and a useful connection to a company within the industry.’

Oliver Humphreys, T-Level Media Student, Barnsley College

‘We commissioned a piece of work from KLTV last year and I must say how much of an impact their advert has had on our company since then.’

‘The initial brief was for an advert that we could use on our website and for other promotional avenues, however the provided more than this, with their skills and experience they were able to showcase our company in the most effective way and gave us advice.’ ‘From the advert we had a number of closed sales which we are really pleased with, we can now signpost people to our site to see what we do and how we do it. These videos are the ideal tool, as people can see where we are and who we work with as well as seeing feedback from some of our customers.’ ‘For anyone wanting to showcase their business, then this is ideal, KLTV’s costs were very good for the level of service and support they gave us and we would have no hesitation in recommending them.’
