The Terriers have taken precautions as the Coronavirus spreads.
Access to Town’s training ground has been restricted to essential personnel only.
This comes after the first case of Coronavirus was confirmed in Kirklees.
Players visits are also suspended until further notice.
PPG Canalside will be closed to everyone except club staff and essential personnel. Therefore, Academy fixtures will be played behind-closed-doors. No spectators will be allowed.
The fixtures will take place at the Leeds Road venue instead.
Supporters can keep up to date with the action from Academy games via htafc.com and the Club’s dedicated Academy Twitter account @htafcacademy.
In addition to this, Town players will not take part in the usual pre and post-match activities with supporters or sponsors. This includes, attending the pre-match Fanzone, Man of the Match presentations and signing autographs for supporters around the Stadium.
Town’s next home match is this Saturday against Wigan Athletic at 3 pm.
The match day mascot will also be absent at home games at the John Smith’s Stadium until further notice.
The club has also recommended purchasing tickets online and for any enquiries to contact the Ticket Office on 01484 960 606.
Town’s statement included: “The club would like to thank supporters for their understanding as it takes necessary precautions to care for the heath of the playing squad, staff and our supporters.”
