Our Castle Hill Ranger says
Castle Hill Ranger Julian Brown said:
“We always welcome anyone who wishes to come along and help. We have regular volunteers and people who just want to find out what it is all about. It’s an instant improvement for the environment even if it’s for half an hour or so it doesn’t matter.”
Julian added:
“Every bag of litter collected by staff and volunteers is being recorded and since the beginning of 2017 and they now know it’s in the food chain from very small bits of plastic. It’s incredible to think that glass discarded irresponsibly can take a million years to break down and even a plastic bag can take up to 20 years to decompose when all it needs is to be more responsible.”
Come and help us out
