Home Secretary Amber Rudd told MPs on Monday that a public inquiry into the clashes between police and miners 32 years ago was ‘not in the public interest’.
The Orgreave Truth and Justice Campaign met for a news conference on Tuesday at the NUM offices on Huddersfield Road where they blasted that decision and vowed to pursue other avenues including a judicial review.
