The Huddersfield Town Foundation are once again hosting their annual summer football camps to help keep kids busy during the upcoming summer holidays.
Aimed at 5-11 year-olds, the camps will use a range of activities, drills and games to get kids engaged and moving in a healthy and active way.
Children of all abilities are encouraged to attend – whether they have never kicked a ball before or play regularly for a local team.
The Town Foundation is holding five week-long (Monday-Friday) camps, with the first one starting on Monday 26 July.
Subsequent dates are as follows:
Tickets cost £60 per week-long session are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Anybody who is unable to get their preferred date will be placed on a waiting list and notified if a place becomes available.
Each day will start at 9.30 am and finish at 3 pm and take place at Leeds Road Sports Complex, HD2 1YY.
Children will be required to wear clothing (including shinpads) and footwear appropriate for a 3G surface and should bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink. A lunch break will be factored into each day.
All Town Foundation coaches are FA qualified, child safeguarding, and emergency first aid certified and enhanced DBS checked.
The sessions will mainly take place outdoors and are designed with covid safety in mind. It is advised that children who are showing signs of COVID-19 symptoms do not attend.
