The Huddersfield Town Foundation is set to kick off the Festive season with their upcoming Carol Concert this December.
The event will see children from the Foundation’s partner primary schools take to the stage and sing a variety of festive carols and songs.
The children will also be joined by the football club’s band, Terrier Brass, for an evening of family-friendly entertainment and festivities.
The concert will take place Thursday 9 December at St Mary’s Church in Mirfield and is being supported in partnership with Stafflex Recruitment, long time collaborators with the footballing scene in Huddersfield.
Tickets for the Carol Concert are priced at £5 per adult and £3 per child, with a family ticket (two adults and two children) also available for £14.
Doors open at 6.30 pm with the service starting at 7 pm. Refreshments will be served after the service at 8.00 pm
Bookings can be made online via Eventbrite.
Speaking on the upcoming event, The Town Foundation’s Fundraising Executive, Lisa Bottomley, commented: “This event is about bringing people together for some Christmas cheer and creating a real sense of community, whatever your age or background.
“I can’t wait to welcome everybody to St Mary’s in Mirfield!
“I’d also like to personally thank Stafflex for their support. With them being a family-run business they share similar values to ourselves and we look forward to developing a strong relationship going forwards.”
Nemi Alexis, Marketing Manager for Stafflex added: “We’re delighted to support this year’s concert and it’s great to be involved with the Town Foundation and their amazing work across Kirklees.
“We have a rich history of supporting our local community and this concert is the perfect way to help bring everyone together in this special time of the year.”
