Hello Huddersfield have announced their new family-friendly event for this summer, a special ‘Lego Trail’ that both local businesses the public can take part in.
The ‘Huddersfield Lego Trail’ will run from Saturday 29th of May 2021 – Sunday 6th June 2021.
Organizations are going to be provided with the Lego for free and then challenged to build models based on the buildings and architecture in Huddersfield.
The organisations are then going to be partnered with various town centre businesses who will display the newly created Lego models for all to see.
As the roadmap out of lockdown continues, those looking to take part in some summer fun will be able to enjoy this socially distanced outdoor activity.
As long as Covid restrictions allow, the trail will be accessible in person, as well as the LoyalFree app for those who wish to take part at home.
Similar to the currently ongoing Easter Egg Hunt, the app allows users to vote for which model they think is the best.
After the 3-week campaign is over the top three highest voted models have a chance of winning some prizes.
Huddersfield looks like it is starting to brighten up a bit with the weather getting a little warmer so this is going to be something that we can look forward to after the lockdown restrictions are lifted and more people get vaccinated.
This will hopefully be a fantastic opportunity to showcase and see some of the talent that we have in Huddersfield in a highly creative way.
