Huddersfield Town visit Kenilworth Road to face Luton Town in the EFL Championship this Saturday 2nd October. 3 pm K.O.
Team News
The Terriers are currently 7th in the table and will be going into this game full of confidence after a well-deserved win over Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday.
The score bounced back and forth with Blackburn equalising every time Huddersfield went ahead.
Eventually Town’s persistence and drive to win paid off with an 86th-minute winner from Danny Ward, his second goal of the game.
The determination shown was top quality and the fact that they were able to keep their heads and not give up was class from the Terriers.
Luton Town
Luton are currently 9th in the Championship and have had an average start to the season so far.
In their past five matches, they have drawn three, lost one and won one. That one win was quite something, however.
The Hatters blazed five past Coventry FC, and with a total of 21 shots and domination of possession, the scoreline comes as no surprise.
One player to watch for Luton must be Adebayo. The forward has really stood out this season with his attacking positioning and his goals. So far, he has put away five for Luton and he’s showing no signs of slowing down.
Prediction
This is going to be a tough football game. With both teams having a great performance for their last game it is going to be a tight contest between these teams.
I think that Huddersfield have really shown what they can do under pressure and how they can score when they need to when their heads are in the right place.
After looking at the stats and performance for both teams I predict:
