By Nathan Findlay –
Huddersfield Town will face up against Queens Park Rangers tonight for their mid-week match in the Championship. It will be a tough away game for Huddersfield and certainly won’t be a walk in the park tonight; KO 7:45 pm.
Huddersfield previously played West Bromwich Albion, where they managed to get a fantastic win against The Baggies after an early goal and a defensive performance from The Terriers. It was one of the best performances so far from Huddersfield this season, and I think it has displayed the ability that the Terriers have to hold off and defend for such a long time.
West Brom had a lot of shots against Huddersfield but only managed to land two on target, which must have been really frustrating to watch. However, this displays the capabilities of Huddersfield Town as they can hold pressure on their opponent, which, this time, caused The Baggies shots to be off-target.
Overall, this is just a brilliant performance for the Terriers. It also looked like the team bonded and put in equal hard work for this game.
After this win, The Terriers are currently 7th in the Championship table, closely following QPR, who are in 6th place. A win tonight will push the Terriers above QPR and into the playoffs once again.

Queens Park Rangers
Queens Park Rangers are another team that is doing well so far in the Championship. They have a total of 29 points so far and are playing well.
QPR previously played Luton Town at the weekend, where they put up another impressive performance and managed to get further 3 points to push their lead up the table.
One player that has stood out to me from QPR is Ilias Chair. This forward has really stood out this season, this forward has got himself a total of 6 goals and three assists so far this season and it doesn’t look like he is finished with his performances just yet— certainly, a player to watch.
Another player that has also stood out at QPR has to be Lydon Dykes; who is closely following Chair with his goals and assists so far this season. He has a total of six goals and two assists, only one assist short of Chair, another fantastic player so far this season and both of these players are going to be on the watch list for me.
Conference Notes
In the pre-match conference, Carlos Corberan said, ‘Every time there isn’t a lot of time between the games its always looking back at the video from the previous game and finding what needs to be changed’
‘I am not going to be making any difference if it’s home or away, we just prepare in the best way in which the game is going to demand, they are a competitive team which we are going to try and beat’
Prediction
Looking into the performances from both sides and the statistics, I think that this game will be a draw. Both teams are very close in the Championship, with only 1 point splitting the teams apart. Both teams put up a strong performance in their previous game, and I think this will be a great game tonight.
