What a result for Huddersfield Giants!
Despite the strong form of Warrington, this was clearly not enough to stop the Giants.
Last night Huddersfield Giants played Warrington Wolves in a roller coaster ride of a game. The game started strong for Huddersfield, going up 20 points by halftime, leaving Huddersfield in a promising position.
As soon as the second half started, we saw Warrington begin to perform, putting pressure on the Giants. Warrington had managed to bring the game almost even (20-18) after only 20 minutes. Fortunately, a try from Edwards gave Huddersfield much-needed safety. A penalty goal followed shortly after from Sezer.
The final score was 26-20 to Huddersfield, meaning another 2 points on the table and another win under the belt.

Next Game | Leigh Centurions v Huddersfield Giants
Huddersfield Giants will be next facing up against Leigh Centurions on Sunday the 23rd May. Leigh Centurions have not had a good start to the season, losing every game so far. This will be a good time for Huddersfield to keep up the momentum here and push on Leigh Centurions while on bad form.
It will not be an easy game for the Giants by any means, but I think that this momentum needs to be held here going into the next game.
Post-Match Thoughts
This was an exceptionally superior performance from Huddersfield Giants in last night’s game. This performance has just shown to all of us what Huddersfield are capable of no matter who they are going to face up against this season.
One small thing is keeping the game’s momentum up. However, overall, this game was an impressive performance for Huddersfield. They did let Warrington catch up within just 20 minutes. This will need to be looked over to try and prevent this from happening in future games for the Giants.
There are now five days for Huddersfield to prepare for their next game against Leigh Centurions on Sunday.
