A great first game of the season for Huddersfield Town!
The game as a whole was very close, both Derby and Huddersfield created great chances and either team could have won the game.
A draw as the final result seems like a fair result in all honesty, despite Huddersfield having more chances on goal.
It was just unfortunate that Huddersfield couldn’t get that second goal to secure the three points.
For the first game of the season, certainly no complaints here with the fact that it was an away game and against a very close team.
One player that stood out to me from Huddersfield is Hogg, this player didn’t do anything that contributed to the goal but was solid all game in the midfield holding up the ball and controlling the game.
Huddersfield will be able to come away from this game on a positive note and progress to their next game in the Championship which will be played against Fulham FC.
? Can we just watch this on loop?

Post Match Thoughts
To conclude I think that this was a strong performance and for the first game of the season and no complaints. There are new players in the squad and for them all to gel together after one game isn’t going to happen.
Huddersfield looked good and I think that Fulham is going to be a real test of the team’s chemistry and will really push them to their limits to see what they can do.
