Kirklees GCSE results were up on last year, with 58% of our students securing at least five A* to C grades, compared with last year’s figure of 56.8%
As for our A-level results, the Kirklees average pass rate was 98.7% which was above the national average pass rate of 98.1%….congratulations all!
Vaccination to prevent cervical cancer…
Did you know 99.7% of cervical cancers are caused by HPV (human papilloma virus) – the most common sexually transmitted infection? Unlike most cancers, cervical cancer is detectable and preventable with a vaccination offered to all girls from the age of 12 years up to their eighteenth birthday.
